For those of you who like to keep track of these things -- it was two years ago today that I landed in Guatemala to begin fostering Eliana.

Wow, two years!

For only the last nine months of those two years, I've lived in the States.

And now, in less than two days I'm going back.

Does that seem as crazy for you to read as it is for me to type?

I wonder what my then-self would have thought if she could have pictured today when boarding that plane two years ago?

Life sure is funny.
