Family Court interviews are complete!

WhoooHooo! The Family Court social worker has completed all the interviews for Eliana's case. Next she will write her report and submit it to the Judge. I've heard that by law the case report must be written within 21 days of the last interview. We are really hoping that the judge will hear her case and rule favorably before the month-long holiday begins Dec 15th!

As a reminder, getting out of Family Court is only one of the three major steps in the process (plus several smaller steps). Eliana won't be coming home in December or January... but if her case continues at this great pace, and doesn't get any PGN kick outs, then she could possibly be home by late February or early March.

Disclaimer: we have been told to expect at least one PGN kick out, possibly two. But some cases do get through PGN without a kick out, so why not Eliana's case?  

Anyways, we're just THRILLED that these first few steps have all gone smoothly and have been completed so quickly.
